Q. Can I use a flushable bag in the rain?

A. Of course you can. There isn’t enough water in bodily fluids to break down the flushable bags, The break down starts when immersed in water.

Q. Are we allowed to flush Dog poop into the human sewer system?

A. We have spoken with the legal experts at United Utilities and they have no objections to its use in their domestic sewage disposal system. Other utility companies take a similar view.

The US have certainly embraced this culture as some local parks even have flushable units for flushable bags to be used with which they provide for free (some English and Welsh authorities are now offering this too).
